How to Not Ruin Your New Favorite Shirt

You waited for it. You love it. Don't blow it in the laundry room.

Washing

• Cold water only. Hot water is for overachievers and people who enjoy shrinking things.
• Turn it inside out before washing. Protect that graphic, you're going to wear this thing until it falls apart.
• Gentle detergent only. This cotton is chill. Keep it that way.
• First wash may bleed a little. Separate it from anything you care about. You've been warned.
• No bleach. No harsh detergents. Unless you enjoy a faded, sad-looking shirt. Which you don't.
• Skip the fabric softener. It sounds nice. It isn't. It messes with the texture and nobody asked it to.

Drying

• Hang dry when possible. Air drying is the move, no shrinking, no drama, more time for snacks.
• Tumble dry low if you must. Low heat or delicate setting only. This isn't a brisket. Don't blast it.
• Pull it out promptly. The second it's dry, grab it. Wrinkles are optional. We assume you'd prefer not.

The Graphic

Don't iron directly on the design. Ever. Flip it inside out or use a pressing cloth. The joke on the front deserves better than a iron-shaped scar.
